Discovering Yom Kippur

intro: The Day of atonement

Experience the Renewal of a God Who Covers Us

Fasting, collective participation, reflection, repentance, prayer, worship...Yom Kippur, the appointed time known as The Day of Atonement, is the holiest day on the Jewish calendar. Yom Kippur is God’s appointment with His people that not only reminded them of their need for a substitutionary sacrifice, but also communicates His deep love for us, foreshadows His redemptive rescue plan, and ultimately points toward our eternal High Priest, Jesus (Yeshua).

The Day of Atonement is the second of the two High Holy Days (the first being Rosh Hashanah), and it invites us (now that we are awake) to collectively reflect, turn back to Him, and embrace complete renewal in Him alone.

Below you will soon find resources, reflections, and recommendations for how to engage Yom Kippur in your life and home. Always feel free to contact us with any questions-

we are glad you're at the table!

The Sabbath Table LIVE: Fall Holy Days Q&A

What are the Fall Holy Days? What do they mean to followers of Jesus? Is everyone invited to participate in them?  We explore what Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot represent, their prophetic significance and how Messiah fulfills them, and what postures we can take in celebrating them.

The Fall Holy Days & Their Prophetic Fulfillment in Messiah

How does prophecy work? Who is at the center of all prophecy? If the Feasts are 'prophetic rehearsals,' what are they rehearsing? This free download by Rabbi Jacob Rosenberg (PhD), included in our Sabbath Table LIVE conversation about the Fall Holy Days, will help you see the big picture of how the Messiah is at the center of the Feasts.
